Crash & Burn…

So in about 3 weeks I start my final year of Uni…

Terrified doesn’t even come close, im sitting here stressing out, doubting my ability to make it through, at this point all I want to do is graduate, I don’t care if it’s with a 3rd or a 2:2 or whatever, I just want to get there, that will be a big enough achievement for me… I feel like im just going to crash and burn this year, to be honest im surprised I’ve made it this far, I definitely couldn’t have done it without the support that my friends and especially my boyfriend have given me, I probably wouldn’t have even made it this far to be honest, cause there have been times when I just wanted to quit, sometimes it gets very overwhelming, especially when you lack the confidence in your ability as much as I do, you step back and look at everything that needs to be done and just can’t see how it can possibly be done in time… I can only imagine this year is going to be even harder…

Then once all that is done I have to decide what I want to do with my life… I currently have no idea, I don’t even know if games design is what I want to do anymore, I feel so lost right now, I wish I could believe in myself but, I can’t so, I guess we will come back to this post in June when I finish, if I finish…

Summer Jobs!

So I have a job!

I am now working at Marks & Spencers in Tamworth!

I love it there, I work in the Cafe and its great, I can honestly say that I enjoy going into work, I mean I still have days where I don’t feel like it, but everyone there is so friendly and nice that I genuinely enjoy working my shifts 😀

I started at the end of June and my contract is until the end of August, I really hope they keep me on, even though I go back to uni in September, I am going into my final year so I wont be in uni that much and if they keep me on I can just travel back to go to work, or, if im lucky I can ask for a transfer to the store in Stafford, that way I wont even have to travel home for work!

But we shall see, I have to actually be kept on before I can start thinking about that 😛 but here’s hoping I do, I really like it there and I definitely need the money!

Yay for getting a summer job in a posh shop!

Happily Ever After? :D

For real this time…

So… It all started a few months ago, my best friend, Nick, told me he loved me, at the time I was already in a relationship, that I thought was the one (I was wrong), so obviously I rejected him and im ashamed to say that I used the line “I only love you as a friend”, of course I fancied him, he is a very sexy, funny and caring guy, but I didn’t want to admit it cause I thought I was already in love, but I now realise that I wasn’t, I also was afraid that things would get weird between us…

Anyway, everything went on as they were, except now I knew that the flirting actually did mean something, it wasn’t just playing, he genuinely meant something, I think him telling me how he felt brought us closer together, when me and Gilly broke up he was right there with me to help me feel better and take my mind off things, sadly though I only had him for a day or two cause I had to come home for summer, even after I came home though he was checking up on me to make sure I was ok 🙂

Our relationship started one weekend in Stafford, he invited me up for a chilled weekend playing games, which we did, originally my intentions were completely innocent but then I started realising that he is my best friend and an awesome guy, and my intentions became less than innocent ;P fortunately his were too, he initiated but I set the conditions of it being just casual, though after that weekend I knew it was going to be more than casual, it was the best weekend I had, had in a very long time 😀 and then it all just sort o snowballed from there, I’ve spent my summer working and going to visit him and he’s been working and visiting me 😀

We of course are now officially boyfriend and girlfriend and it is very much not casual, I love him and I know he loves me, he is amazing and makes me laugh hysterically at the most stupidest things, I don’t know how he does it but he does, he makes me happy and above all he is my best friend, I can tell him anything, this is the most open I have ever been in a relationship and it feels so nice not to worry about where you stand or how they will react to what you say 🙂

I love him ❤

Anyway, that was my way of telling you guys that I have a new boyfriend and he is awesome!

Oreos & Chocolate Milk!

Sup Guys!

Long time no speak right…. I know I suck at keeping on top of this but nevermind!

Anyway, it has been a very awesome 2 months, so much to tell you!

First though I must say, what a nice day it has been today, a great day to be sat indoors babysitting your PC while it upgrades to Windows 10…. I can’t complain though, I’ve been waiting ages for it to upgrade and now it finally has!

I’ve also been having mad cravings for Oreo’s and chocolate milk recently so that is what I am currently enjoying, as well as some random music on Spotify!

Decided it was about time I got Spotify, I get bored with the music that I have on my phone very fast so Spotify is pretty much perfect for me £10 for access to thousands of songs! can’t go wrong with that!

In other news…… 57 DAYS TIL DISNEY!!

So excited, I’m going to buy so many different flavours of Oreo’s while I’m over there, anyone got any recommendations?

Anyway, I’m going to go finish sorting out my PC, probably get the WordPress App so it’s easier for me to remember to post! 😛 that’s the idea at least…

I’ll catch you up on everything else over the next few days, as well as a Windows 10 first impressions post!

Happy 4th Of July!!

Jurassic World!! *SPOILERS*

So I went to see Jurassic World on Friday with my sister, cousin and their friend…….

IT’S AMAZING!!!

Seriously, I know I say this about every film I go and see, but I would totally recommend seeing it if you haven’t already!

Not many films these days have me on the edge of my seat the entire time, mainly because I don’t make a habit of going to see films that scare me, not that this film was in any way scary, to me at least…. cause you know, im a badass! 😛 but damn, this film was so intense! both me and my sister spent most of the film on the edge of our seats, it was so good!

I never saw the originals in the cinema sadly, but to be fair I was only 3 when the original came out, probably not socially acceptable to take a 3 year old to watch a film about Dinosaurs…. We did have them all on VHS though… old skool I know 😛 so yeah I have seen all of the original films, and they are all really good!

SERIOUSLY SPOILERS INCOMING!!!

But everything about Jurassic World was awesome, the CG dinosaurs looked amazing, and it was a lot more graphic, unlike the originals, this film actually properly showed people getting eaten by the dinosaurs, whereas in the originals its more suggestion. It was pretty gruesome, the one that I remember the best was the fat guy who gets eaten by the Indominus Rex, where he’s just sat on the floor and the dinosaur just bends over and eats him…. that made me turn away a bit 😛

Chris Pratt and the Raptors tracking was awesome as well! Though I totally knew they were gonna turn on him when they found the Indominus Rex, but he turned it around, cause hes motherfucking Starlord! them Raptors will never disobey him again! 😀

My most favourite bit has to be when the Indominus Rex and T-Rex are fighting at the end…. that shit was so cool! the Raptors and T-Rex working together to put the Indominus Rex in its place, and then the mosasaur just ate it like a badass!

Nature beats science every time! well in the dinosaur world anyway 😛

I was however sat there thinking who the hell is gonna deal with the freed T-Rex now?!

You’d also think, after 3 previously failed attempts at opening the park, they would just write it off and not try again, it never goes well! People always die!! Or at least if they must open the park again, at least install some kind of dinosaur proof underground bunker for when everything inevitably goes wrong!

But hey, its got dinosaurs, explosions and exploding dinosaurs! Whats not to love!?

My Plants! – Update…

So I’m not sure if I’ve ever shared pictures of my plants with you before, but hey nevermind!

I don’t have as many now as I used to, sadly I left them in the care of my parents when I went to uni, which inevitably meant a few died, it’s not their fault, they don’t know how to look after them so im not mad 🙂

But anyway, here are some recent pics of the plants I do have left, some may look a bit bare cause I recently gave them a trim as they needed it 😛

E3 So Far…

So E3 is in full swing now! its great, I’ve watched some of it live but most of it I will be catching up on the day after, mainly cause im just too old to stay up til 3am watching it, I will probably die of tiredness the next day 😛

Anyways I’m gonna talk about some of my favourite things so far,

I watched the Bethesda conference on YouTube yesterday and my god! it is amazing, if you haven’t seen it go check it out here!

I’m definitely sold and excited about Fallout 4 now!! it looks amazing, the world looks so pretty, the character customization is awesome and allows you to build an even more unique looking character, also the most awesome thing is that you get to play a bit in the pre war world! oh man am I looking forward to that! 😀

I am totally 100% sold on Fallout 4 now, I will be buying it, in fact I even want the Pip Boy edition, oh yeah! £100 take my money Bethesda and give me that Pip Boy!!! *drools*

I’ve been watching the Twitch live stream during the day though, its pretty good, check it out 😀

The Microsoft conference was also pretty cool, there were some pretty awesome looking Xbox exclusives announced, these have seriously made me consider buying an Xbox One as well as a PS4, I thought the Rare collection looked awesome, all the games that Rare have done on one disc, more or less, and I also really like the look of a Pirate game that they announced, I love pirates! One day I shall become a pirate, sail my awesome ship around the world and stop off at cool isalnds! 😀

Recore also looked like a really artistic awesome game!

AND!!!! HOLOLENS!! Oh my god! that looks absolutely amazing! Seriously! watch the video! I can’t even begin to explain how excited I am for this!! Especially if it works! Damn Microsoft have taken gaming to a whole new level and I have never been happier to be a part of this awesome industry 😀

There has also been a lot of love for Mobile gaming this year! Which I love, hopefully one day this is the section of the games industry I will go into, but anyway, a lot of big companies have been announcing stuff for mobile, Bethesda for example, released Fallout Shelter….

Of course I went ahead and downloaded it straight away 😀

I have yet to play it though, seeing as I am writing this post on Monday, but I will probably have played it on the train today and I’m sure it is damn awesome!

Microsoft have definitely done really well at E3 this year, so many exciting announcements, their games, their new controller (which looks damn cool btw), the Hololens, backwards compatibility and loads of other things!

Sony better have something just as awesome if not better to announce! We want backwards compatibility too Sony!!!

Anyway, I’m gonna go enjoy the rest of Mondays E3, I shall do a full post about it all when I get back from Nicks 😀

Busy Day!

How’s it going today?

I’m having a pretty good day, finally managed to tidy my room….. more or less, done all of my washing and have started my packing ready to go see Nick tomorrow 😀 its been busy though, every time I tried to do something I would get called down by my mom, I literally couldn’t get anything done! but she has gone out for a bit now so I’m gonna do as much as I can while she’s out 😛

I’ve been up since like 9am mainly cause I was trying to get a doctor’s appointment, and also cause my hayfever is so bad at the minute that it stops me sleeping in late anyway, it took me about half an hour to get through to them…. half an hour! but I got an appointment and have to leave in about 20 minutes, the thing I hate most about my doctors is that you can’t book an appointment for a specific day, you have to phone up super early the day you want it and try to get in then….. pretty stupid really, but ah well 😛

When I get back from the doctors in a bit I still have tons to do! gotta finish packing, shower, dry my washing, probably hoover my room and then watch some more of E3!

You guys been watching E3? I’m totally sold on Fallout 4 now, it looks so awesome, can’t wait for it to come out 😀 need to get myself a PS4 though 😛

Anything in particular you guys are excited for?

I’ll probably do a full post at the weekend about E3 when I’ve seen it all 😀
